Putting so. into a drawer in German is an image for stereotyped thinking. Probably everyone does that. It helps us to categorize in things/people who are good or bad for us. It saves us time.

But what if we put someone into the wrong drawer? Sometimes that can cause us trouble or even pain. Other times we are pleasently surprised how a person can turn out. So take some time… Look into your drawers! Maybe you’ll find things which are better off in the trash can. But maybe there are some little treasures hidden. Get them out and have another look at them in a different light.
