Today I’m looking back 8 years ago, to a day when someone I knew passed away. A friend died during a plane crash. He only was 26. I haven’t known him for long. But enough to know that he had many plans and wasn’t yet ready to go. I remember me dialing his number over and over again when I wasn’t really sure if he happened to be on that plane. And I even kept calling his cell phone when I was aware that he’ll never be able to answer again…
A few days later I wrote into my diary:
“Today at work I went down the hall and heard my own steps. I turned my head to the ceiling and went on. Suddenly I felt how life feels like and how little we usually care. We don’t pay attention to every single moment. We let life pass by without even feeling it. We care for things that don’t have anything to do with the real life. We argue with people we love and waste time…”
This is to remember that every single moment count’s, that we should follow our heart when ever we can and never stop to appreciate every moment we breathe.
